Air Gun Program Rules and RegulationsThe Air Gun Program is open to rifle and pistol shooters. Shooters meet every week on Tuesday except for the first Tuesday of the month. The air gun season starts in the beginning of October and ends in April. You must be 9 years of age to be a junior member. Parents do not have to be a Yellowstone Rifle Club member in order for the kids to be a Junior member, although it is great to have parent participation to help coach beginning shooters. Expenses The usual expenses include: Expense costs are effective of 8/4/09. Notice will be given if prices increase. Gear Gear will be provided to shooters, including: Air Gun Safety Rules In order for the range to be a safe environment, each shooter will go though a 5 to 10 minute safety orientation from the air gun director. Shooters also have to follow three safety rules (listed below). If not followed, each shooter will have 3 strikes. After that the shooter will be asked to leave the air gun program for the rest of the current season and can join again the next shooting season. 1. You can only handle rifles and pistols during prep period or during actual shooting time unless otherwise noted by the director.
