This range is used for NRA Highpower Rifle competition. It consists of a fixed target line with firing lines at 200, 300, and 600 yards. Organized practice sessions are held Thursday evenings from approximately May through September. This range is closed when the highpower blackpowder rifle silhouette (range #2) is in use. The main road is closed when 600 yard firing is in progress. Rifles are restricted to 8mm or smaller caliber. Be alert for vehicles entering or leaving the shotgun area (#10) and suspend firing until vehicles are in a safe area.
